In this blog post you will learn how to create GPS Idling reports using Velocity Fleet.
What Is Idling?
Idling refers to leaving a vehicles engine running while the vehicle is stationery, according to the RAC.
Some instances of idling cannot be avoided, for example, sitting in traffic.
However, other instances of idling can be avoided. An example of this is leaving the engine running whilst having lunch.
Not only does idling increase the amount of fumes in the air, it also wastes fuel costing your business money.
What Are Idling Reports?
Idling Reports record every instance of idling that you can view in a detailed table.
This report can be broken down individually so you can view each drivers idling events.
