Many businesses are utlilising the Geofence feature that is available on the Kinesis & ATOM GPS Vehicle Tracking systems. But what are Geofences and how do you use them? Continue reading to find out.

What are Geofences?
GPS Geofences enable you to create virtual zones that trigger an alert when your vehicle enters or leaves an area defined by you. This helps to provide you with an insight into your fleet activity. Fleet Managers can set parameters and alerted if a vehicle enters or leaves a specific area. The insights gathered using Geofences can be used to determine the time a vehicle entered or left a location. Setting a Geofence is very easy and takes very little time to complete. You can either draw a circle or drop pins on the map that then connect together.

Geofences are widely used due to the security features that they possess. They can be used to;
- track the number of visits to a location for greater insight
