As part of our commitment to continue to increase our site network, we are pleased to announce that all Applegreen sites on the Fuelwise Fuel Card Network are now Core, providing all Fuelwise fuel card customers with a larger selection of Core sites to refill at. This expansion of Core sites also sees several brand new Applegreen sites join the network.
This update follows the addition of 114 new Applegreen sites to the network.
As of February 2024, there are 183 Applegreen sites in Ireland that accept Fuelwise Fuel Cards. These sites are spread right across Ireland with many providing additional facilities such as on-site parking, café and HGV access.
A further 100 Applegreen sites are available to use in Northern Ireland and the mainland UK.

We have also developed a user friendly mobile app, that is free to download and contains all 5,250+ fuel stations that Fuelwise Fuel Cards can be used at. Download options can be found below.
This updates follows the announcement in 2020 that Sainsbury’s had joined the Fuelwise Fuel Card Network, providing access to an additional 300 sites for all customers in Northern Ireland and the UK. You can check out the full Sainsbury’s announcement. Adding Sainsbury’s to the Fuelwise Fuel Card network, now means Fuelwise customers now have access to over 80% of the UK’s supermarket fuel stations.
The total number of sites on the Fuelwise Site Network now exceeds 5,250, with over 3,750 in the UK and 1,500 in Ireland, as of February 2024.
