In this blog post you will learn how to create Driver Harsh Cornering reports using Velocity Fleet.
What is Harsh Cornering?
Harsh Braking is when a driver turns around a corner or roundabout faster at speed.
This can often be viewed as drivers being aggressive or distracted and can lead to increased maintenance costs.
What are Driver Harsh Cornering Reports?
The Harsh Cornering report informs fleet managers of the number of times a driver brakes harshly.
Each driver is scored out of 100 with a low score indicating more harsh cornering events.
This information is obtained using the Driver Performance feature, with data presented in a summary table.
You can dive deeper into this report and view the date, time and location of each individual harsh braking event.
Further below you will find a guide to create your own driver harsh cornering reports.
